Autumn Afternoon Glow
In late October 2014, as the sun was getting lower in the southwest sky, I searched for a spot in Garden of the Gods where I could frame a view of Pikes Peak and use some trees to partially block the intense afternoon sun. I found such a place and was also pleased that the sun provided a streak which cast a glow on part of the flora in the foreground.
