An Inviting Trout Stream in Rocky Mountain National Park

An Inviting Trout Stream in Rocky Mountain National Park

As I recall this stream was flowing through the Moraine Park area of RMNP. I "Photoshopped out" the lone fly fisherman who was trying to catch his dinner. This stream is headed toward the Big Thompson River and Lake Estes and then down the Big Thompson Canyon which flooded in 1976. On that clear day in the canyon ten inches of rain was falling in the mountains and brought a wall of water that virtually destroyed most of the homes in the canyon and claimed several lives.
