St. Elmo is an old, restored ghost town a few miles south of Buena Vista. The road back to this town runs along the white Chalk Cliffs and Chalk Creek. I was lucky to catch this image of the creek after a deep snowfall before the pristine snow was disturbed by tracks (human or animal)!
