While walking through the shops in the Grandview neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, in May, 2016, I spotted a father, daughter and uncle passing through a darkened pathway between buildings and entering the afternoon sunlight. It seemed to be a perfect setting for a black & white photograph with the three of them in silhouette.
