On my way back down after photographing a sunrise from the top of Pikes Peak in July, 2017, I stopped at Crystal Creek Reservoir. The dense clouds had all departed revealing a quintessential Colorado blue sky. There were minimal ripples in the water at 7:38 A.M. but a decent reflection of America's Mountain was still present.
