Autumn Color Reflected in a Stream (Ohio or Coal Creek) Near Crested Butte, Colorado
Autumn is spectacular in the Colorado Rockies! Near Crested Butte are some of the best aspen stands in the state and some of the slow moving creeks capture the reflected tree images in their clear waters. Kebler and Ohio Passes meet about eight miles west of Crested Butte. One follows Coal Creek, the other goes along Ohio creek. To be honest, I can't remember which pass I was on when I came across this idyllic scene!
Being west of the Continental Divide, the waters of this creek will eventually find their way to the Pacific Ocean.
