8. Garden of the Gods Panorama Looking East, 20 March 2014

One rule of landscape photography is to turn around. Often one will be approaching a scene and totally concentrate on a single direction forgetting that lurking behind you is something of interest with completely different lighting. As one enters the Garden of the Gods the eye is drawn to the west where great views of Pikes Peak are visible. I took this panorama of some of the sandstone and limestone formations as I was facing east.
