2. Twisted Juniper, 28 January, 2014

The winter is my favorite time to photograph Garden of the Gods. The crowds of summer are gone and after a snowfall the blue sky, red rocks and evergreen trees all seem accentuated by the white snow. Twisted junipers are common in the Garden and make good anchor objects for landscape pictures. These trees are interesting due to their form and texture.
