20. October Sunset, Pikes Peak, 23 October 2014

As the sun moves south in the autumn and winter it becomes easier to photograph Pikes Peak in the evening from the east looking due west. Once again I used a tree to partially block the sun and yet allow it to backlight and highlight some plants in the foreground. Two trees framed and particulates in the air created a misty appearance below a slightly snow dusted Pikes Peak in the distance.
